What personal data we collect and why we collect it

By default WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users.

The only personal Data collected on this website is the information shared with us directly through contact form by the visitor/user of the site. The contact form, if there is one, does not collect or store any IP addresses or PII (personal identifiable information). The information you share with us is directly by choice and is only used to be able to assist you with your enquiry. This information is not shared with or sold to any third party, it is managed with the upmost confidentiality and only shared with the intended recipient/staff of our company.

Comments 

We have currently not made the option of leaving comments available on our website, we will be sure to update our privacy policy as soon as, or if we do so, therefore we do not collect any PII information or IP addresses for any purposes.

If  comments gets activated then when visitors leave comments on the site WordPress automatically may collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We have not activated membership or a blog on our website therefore this will not come into effect and we will update our privacy policy if we start allowing for this option.

Contact forms

Your Contact information is only gathered through our contact form which is linked directly to our administration office and only authorised users receive this information via the email account linked to the contact form. We do not sell any data retrieved via our contact forms to any third party organisations. All information shared with us is confidential. The contact form does not store your details as it is completely managed through the mail server so only the intended recipients receives the information that you wish to share.

The contact form is part of the Elegant Theme Framework, no contact form plugin is used. Elegant Themes does not collect any personal data via the contact form.

Cookies

WordPress Default Cookies: 
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

We do not share your personal data shared with us via contact form with any third party unless authorised by the user in writing to do so.

We make use of the GADWP (Google Analytics Dashboard WordPress – ExactMetrics) plugin which does not capture any personal identifiable information (PII) as per GADWP plugins Terms & Conditions which conforms to the GDPR new Rules & Regulations but only tracks visits to the website by users (users do not need to be logged in to the website to be tracked, therefore we do not need any PII to track visits to the website.)

How long we retain your data
Please note that we do not allow users to register on our website, this website is for information purposes only to assist our viewers. The only form of personal data capturing is via our contact form when an enquiry/request is made by the user, who accepts to sharing this information by willingly submitting it via the contact form. Statistical data of all visitors (not including personal identifiable information such as name, contact number, email etc.) is captured via the Google Analytics app to monitor the traffic of our website.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We only require the most basic information to be able to contact our users to answer enquiries such as a contact number, email address and name.

What third parties we receive data from and make use of:
We do not receive any data from any third parties other than the Google Analytics Dashboard WordPress Plugin which is linked directly to our own Google Analytics account. This data is only for statistical purposes to track the total hits (visits) to our website and no personal data (PII) is stored for this purpose.

We Use Google Fonts on this website. Also, please note that Google LLC is certified under both the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield frameworks and their certifications can be viewed on their Privacy Shield list. Therefore Google as the “data controller”, the burden of responsibility for making sure Google Fonts is compliant falls on Google, rather than websites.

We use Elegant Themes for the Theme of this website and they do not collect any personal data from visitors to this site.

We use the Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode by SeePod – this plugin is only used temporarily while major updates are done on the website. We do not make use of any of their optin options or data capturing options, we just make a static coming soon page with contact details for users to contact us. SeaPod Privacy Policy.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
We do not collect any login details or offer user login options on this website. We also do not offer a commentary section for users to leave comments. The only User Data collected is via our contact forms where users decide to share data as per contact form for us to contact the user directly and answer any enquiries sent through. This information is not sold to any third party and all users accept and give permission to share their information via contact form with us (owner of the website) by clicking the submit button to send information directly to us (the email account linked to the contact form).
